Preheat offers full stress relieving services including large and small ovens at its new facilities in Broussard and Belle Chasse, Louisiana. The internal dimensions of the largest furnace are 14’ wide, 14’ high and up to 47’ long. This size allows heat-treating of large vessels or several items simultaneously. This new furnace is heated by true high velocity gas burners. The powerful flow of superheated air exits each burner at over 350 MPH producing extremely even heat distribution throughout the furnace. Additionally, Preheat has developed it’s own PC based stress relieving control systems for it’s fleet of mobile stress relieving units, as well as all five of it’s furnaces. The system offers 2 ramps of ascent to soak temperature; soak temperature and duration and 2 ramps of descent as well as many other features. The system can simultaneously heat treat up to 24 welds using 2 totally unique, operator-programmed heat cycles in any combination making it extremely versatile. One of the systems most unique features allows it to run different heat cycles simultaneously. Preheat also provides a complete line of high quality heat treating supplies including beads, camlock connectors, TC plugs, wire, etc., used in this unique industry.
