NanoDrill Water-Based Drilling Fluid System

OMNI’s B.E.G. division introduces the future for horizontal drilling in shale formations. NanoDrill incorporates nanotechnology to create an environmentally conscious, water-based mud system that provides superior shale stability and better lubrication than conventional oil mud, synthetic oil mud or mineral oil.

NanoDrill is engineered to provide maximum inhibition, deliver the highest level of lubricity, contain formation pressures and maintain reservoir integrity. In addition, because it is water based, it is easy to run and allows eco-friendly cleanup. Drill cuttings can be cleaned with water and are not subject to special regulatory treatment.
